I paint to figure out who I am and how I fit in.

 

I paint to figure out this world and why it matters. I paint to understand the beauty and joy amid all the noise, greed, and inhumanity. I paint to honor what I have been given and what has gone before me.

 

I'm not there yet, but I keep trudging forward.
